Today went ever so well!! I loved today!! Today was my loved day. lol. Well, I guess I'll just start from the beginning so I'll have more to write cuz I just LOVE writing! ^^ Let's see...Andy talked to me yesterday and told me Dexter would be picking me up at 7:15 right? well, I got ready and at exactly 7:15, he and his dad got into the car and I went to get my stuff. I waited for them to stop at my driveway and go pick me up...but they never did! They completely missed my house! So I called Andy, my mom already all hysterical because no one would be giving me a ride(it's so funny when she gets like that, as if the world were about to end) to ask him if Dexter knew he was picking me up. Andy replied with a He's supposed to. Well, I said, he JUST left...for YOUR house! Oh, he said . Well, I'll make sure he picks you up when he gets here. And so it happened, now I'm gonna be the little outcast in the ride to band camp. I feel bad, I only know Andy and it's Dexter's dad that's giving us a ride, I just feel like I don't belong and shouldn't be asking them for rides. Anyway, we went to the band room for a quick meeting and then the winds left outside for some basics and drill. We're up to the 8th move!! yea! It's really not as easy as I thought it would be to play and march at the same time, I think it'll help if I practice the music more. But it is just SO basic!! The show so far consists of moves we would of done ANYTHING for last year. :cries her heart out.: I'll get over it...once competitions start...yes, my whole happiness consists of competitions (and my Justin of course!^^)or maybe...we'll do so bad and the show will be just so stupid that the judges will give us bad marks in all the competitions we go to and just make me feel worse and give me more reason to hate the show and disagree with people who do like it. Anyway, After that the winds went into the cafeteria and the brass went to tecumseh and we practiced some music. Then we had LUNCH!! ^^ mmm nummy salad. Tomorrow I get to eat watermelon!! Marisela and I took Kelly (V) and Niki on a tour of the school. We were going back to the cafeteria when we saw Rachel giving Justin and Shantina a tour too! lol, it was such a wonderful coincidence lol.Well, after that we all gathered together in the ever so memory-infested band room and waited for 2 to come about. At 5 til Mr. Barker came in and told us all to skidaddle to the stage for a full band rehearsal. It was a good rehearsal, I bad-mouthed Niki and she bad-mouthed me back, Kayla joined in and then they started attacking me, mostly Kayla though at one point. It was great, another memory to add to my collection lol. I found a really ironic secret from Kayla lol. And after that?, umm...ah yes, we rehearsed in the stage and it started raining so we had to stay another 15 minutes longer and when we finally went back out it was UNBEARABLY humid! But we got used to it. I wished Andy and the rest of the baritones had gotten in bigger trouble for being idiots and splashing people with water from the water puddles. But they didn't. Mr. Barker had me count out loud for the 3 freshman flutes infront of me during one of the moves and I felt mature lol. not really, I just felt superior in a not show offy way. I messed up a lot though, so during the last few runs through I just marched and counted and won't play until I'm sure I've got it all down and have nothing to worry about. I want to make a marching band scrapbook!! Marisela and I said we would make one, but we never started it...maybe I'll take my camera tomorrow to the bowling night so I can take pictures and keep some memories. Everybody liked Xavier! lol, and Kelly recognized him from my last xanga post lol a loyal frequent reader XD. I love her to death, no matter how many times I say I hate her and want her dead....^^;; lol. I want my freshmen to have the time of their lives this marching season. I don't want them to look back at their freshman marching year and wish they had done more and been more outgoing. I want them to feel as comfortable as possible so they do everything they would like to do and not feel like they're doing something wrong or that they will be frowned upon. I lived my freshman year like that and I don't like how slowly I progressed into having friends and getting adapted to my environment lol. Well, after I got home from dropping off Andy and Dexter Jessica came up to me and asked me if I recognized a certain phone number, which I didn't. The girl that had called from that number turned out to be HEATHER!! We talked for almost an hour and on Saturday we'll be spending the day together so we can see each other before she goes back to Missouri. (or Misery as she likes to call it.) She took Japanese her freshman year and when she went to register to her new school she found out they didn't give Japanese classes there. She was pretty depressed :bumer.: After she left I ate and took a shower and cleaned Clyde's (my hamster) cage and his little rolley ball and he was a happy hamster......I hope. I didn't get to practice the music today....I just finished cleaning everything up and got on the computer. I can't wait till the bowling time thingy!! tomorrow at 7! Kelly and Justin and Shantina and Marisela are all going!!! I'm gonna be the happiest Mexican Maria EVER!!! lol. It seems I have written enough for today so I will leave you all to your business and see nearly everybody I know tomorrow! lol, so sad...most of my friends are in marching band...such a band nerd. YES, it's called band nerd...it changes once you convert to marching. lol MBL!!!

yeah, that was really long. i know someone who is a band nerd, and one who is a band geek. the band geek is in my band, but it is awsome at playing the bass. we practiced today and sounded really good, you should have heard us. for only drums and bass...we had some people watch us (not family) and they said that we were pretty good. and asked if they would pay us, so now poeple owe us like 15 dollars, but they said they would pay us when they get the money. i think we might become professional. also, we found a way to make merch with our band names and stuph on it. it is fucking sweet! well, i got to go, so i will ttyl. bye.

i know how you feel. when school time comes for me, i will prbably rarely be on here. lol. moo cow. i think we added lyrics to that song and am now calling it pricks and bullies. i am working on the song explosion, and have created a hardcore beat for it. what i made up took me about 3 hours to work on and like 50 tries to get it perfectly right. it is like two minutes long, but i love it. i think it is my best peice of work yet, because it sounds like a professional song and i have a guitar and bass part in my head for it. i can't wait till band practice on saturday, hoefully my guitar player shows up, so we can have a really good practice. this is pretty long, so will just say, since you have such a busy schedule, if you at least answer my contest with the right answer in at least three days after it has been answered right (if not by you), then you will get a prize. basically, if you have the answer and are two late, give it to me in three days and you wil get a prize. i don't know what i coluld have you do for me, so it's cool. you don't have to be in debt to me or anything. bye.
